He can be seen at major Leather events around the country such as the Folsom Street Fair or Dore Alley Fair in San Francisco, International Mr. Leather in Chicago, Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend. Folsom East in New York City and others. He particularly attends and presents workshops at the International Masters and slaves Weekend / South Plains Leather Fest in Dallas, and the regional events / feeders around the country. Master Taino is a big supporter of Brother Help Thyself (BHT), a Washington-Baltimore area gay organization formed by Leather clubs to raise funds for gay and AIDS organizations in the community. He also is a member and supporter of the Leather Archives and Museum in Chicago. Defenders Leather Levi Club The Defenders Leather Levi Club is Master Taino's Leather fraternity. He has been a member since 1993 and served three consecutive term as President (2002-2004). Defenders meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm in the Dignity Center in South-East Washington, D.C. During His last two years as President, Master Taino lead the club to a record $20,000 in fund-raising that were distributed among five major charities in the DC area. http://defendersdc.org/ SigMa SigMa is the male BDSM club in Washington, DC. Master Taino is the founder of the original SigMa Dungeon, established in March 1997 and closed seven years later. For more than three years (1997-2000), He served as Dungeon Master; from 1997-1998 as Secretary and from 1998-2000 as Newsletter Editor. SigMa found a new home in the Spring 2005. www.sigmadc.org MAsT Washington The DC Chapter of "Master And slaves Together", a support group for Masters and slaves and those interested in the lifestyle, was founded by Master Taino in April 1999. He serves as the Chapter Master. MAsT meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Tool Shed Bar (above the Green Lantern). Master Taino has attended meetings of other chapters, particularly MAsT - DC Pansexual. MAsT NYC, MAsT San Francisco and MAsT Chicago. MAsT Washington is a major sponsor of the Master slave Conference, held for the first time in 2004 in Washington, DC. The chapter also hosts an annual Reception for the Masters and slaves attending Mid Atlantic Leather Weekend. www.mastwashington.org BLACK ROSE Master Taino has participated in events of Black Rose for many years, including presenting at the Tuesday's event and at BR, the annual event.
